FOOD CARD PROGRAM : Food cards are available for various supermarket chains after Divine Liturgy, and do not cost any more than the face value of the card. The church receives a percentage as a free fundraiser! See Judy Znaiden in church or at jznaiden@optonline.net.
Father David will be facilitating an Advent Faith Enrichment Series in the church at 7 PM on the following Mondays: November 27 and December 4,11 and 18. Join him for four evenings of learing and discussion on "Who Christ Is", as we prepare together to welcome Him into our hearts, homes and families this Christmas.
The Senior R Club is holding a Dessert Roll Sale through Sunday, November 19th. Those wishing to place an order should see Carol Deerson during Coffee Hour or phone her at (732) 254-4979. Nut, poppy seed, apricot and prune rolls are $18.00 each and pick-up will be in the hall on Friday, December 8th, between 3:00 and 6:00PM. A Thanksgiving Day Molieben will be served at 10:00AM on Thurs. Nov. 23. There are many demands on families this day, so wouldn't it be a good idea to start the day with prayer to thank the Lord for our blessings!
Reach for a star an help make this Christmas a truly joyous one for seminarian families at St. Vladimir's and St. Tikhon's. Pick an ornament off the Christmas Giving Trees in the church vestibule and return the requested gift unwrapped, along with the tag, by Sun, Nov. 26. Please be aware that this may be the only gift someone will open on December 25th. Thanks for sharing the light of Christ and spreading the holiday spirit to those in need.
As we are getting closer to the Nativity of Christ, our Church school students are busy preparing for the Saint Nicholas Day Pagaent, which is scheduled for Sunday, December 10th, in the hall. Parents are asked to bring their children to class on Sundays, so that they can rehearse what promises to be a very delightful prgram for the holiday season. (A full dress rehearsal is scheduled for Sat, December 9.)
